How do I join or become a member of the Careers site? If you wish to join the New Hope Careers website, please visit the 'Sign Up' section of this site. You can join the website at anytime - which will allow you to log in and quickly apply for any positions suitable to your skills and experience. Your membership to this site is governed by our Privacy Policy (available from New Hope Coal's website).
To join, simply click here and follow the 'wizard'. You will be asked to enter contact information related to yourself which can be used for any position application you make to New Hope Coal. Some fields marked with an asterix (*) are required fields and must be completed prior to moving into the next stage of the signup process. If you miss a field that is required, the website will alert you and ask you to complete the required field.
By signing up, you are not applying for a position, you are simply registering and saving your contact details for when a suitable position is advertised for you to apply for.
What if there are no positions currently being advertised that I would like to apply for?
Due to the high volume of interest we receive in our operations, we are unable to accept resumes to hold on file on a general basis. Please visit our website periodically until a position is advertised that interests you to apply for.
How do I apply for a position online? Visit our Available Positions website to review our available roles. From here, you can apply by clicking the "Apply" link. Our website will ask for you to provide information that is important for us to understand you better. Please remember that when asked to provide a resume; please only upload one resume file. There is no need to provide a covering letter with your application. How do I check on the status of my application?
Each recruitment process is different and as such the time taken for each recruitment process can change. In order for you to remain up to date, you have the ability to visit our Recruitment Website and visit the 'Your Applications' page where you have the ability to review your outstanding applications and their relevant statuses.

I have forgotten my username and/or password. How do I reset it? A 'wizard' is available for use on this site that will help you in returning your password. Simply put, your username is the email address that you used to sign up to the website with when you became a member. if you have recently chaged your email address, try using your previous email address as your username. Your password can be retrieved by clicking here and completing the required information into the fields. The website will be send to you an email supplying your password to the email address supplied during sign up. What if I want to talk to somebody about my application or a particular position?
